Part 1. Test Director (10 hours)

This course teaches students to manage the testing process for a project. Students learn to use TestDirector 7.0 in order to: 

  • Create a test database and framework to store all test cases
  • Track and report defects on executed tests
  • Run integrated tests
  • Customize graphs and reports
  • Add manual and automated test cases

Tracking Defects
  • Setting up automatic email notification

Part 2. Introduction to WinRunner (40 hours)
This course will teach students the fundamentals of how to create automated tests using WinRunner. By the completion of this course, students will be able to utilize WinRunner's features to automate functional and regression tests.
