Cognos 8 Reporting
Module Description:
This Module is designed for professional
report authors, developers, or anyone needing to gain a foundation in
Cognos 8 BI reporting. This class is designed to provide students with
an introduction to the basics of Cognos ® Report Studio 8.4. Students
will learn a variety of techniques to retrieve and modify information
from databases and to generate customized reports.
Module Objectives:
- The objective of this course is to allow the
student to develop and retain a thorough understanding of the foundation
of Report Studio. In addition, Cognos 8 BI components are reviewed along
with Data Warehousing concepts as they relate to Cognos 8 BI
Prerequisites: Basic experience with the Windows operating system;
Basic experience with a Web browser Audience: Report Authors Module
Duration: 20 hours
